About
International Master · FIDE Instructor · Chess Coach
I am an active International Master with a peak FIDE rating of 2497 and a FIDE Instructor, dedicated to chess coaching while completing my degree in Economics. Chess has shaped my life through both competition and teaching, and it continues to drive me toward constant improvement.
Born in 1999 and playing for ŠK Mornar Split, Jadranko became the youngest FIDE Master in Croatian history at the age of 14 in 2014, and was awarded the International Master title in 2017. His competitive highlights include European Vice-Champion (Standard) at Mamaia 2017, the European U18 Rapid title in Novi Sad in 2016, and a Mitropa Cup gold medal with the Croatian national team in 2017.
For several years he has worked as a coach, with students from Croatia and internationally. His teaching is structured, practical and individualized - game analysis, opening preparation, strategic training, calculation exercises and endgame study - identifying recurring mistakes, building better habits, and connecting each lesson to real tournament performance.
He coaches online in English and Croatian, working with ambitious juniors, tournament and club players, and adult improvers. Above all he values discipline, clarity and honest feedback.
